[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! You all are much more talented than I am at this. What would be a good middle name for [name_u]Blaise[/name_u]? His brother’s name is [name_u]Parker[/name_u], if that makes any difference.
I think a softer sounding name with some length would sound great. I think it would be a good idea to avoid s sounds, as it may sound hissy when said out loud

Very good advice, thank you! I will think about these. At first glance, I like both [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], [name_u]Arden[/name_u], and [name_u]Logan[/name_u]!
Hey, that’s my name! I never see it; good choice
(I’m a girl, but hey, I’ll take what I can get.)
[name_u]Blaise[/name_u] is one of those nice names that has a lot of sounds in one syllable. I would say avoid all those sounds in the middle and find something that blends the first and last. For example
[name_u]Blaise[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] doesn’t work because Bl [name_m]Al[/name_m] is a nearly repeating sound with the first syllable ending the same way. Something like [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is lovely. Pairing a more common or classic middle with this name is very nice and makes it stronger. I don’t recommend using a single syllable middle or a very very long middle but 2-3 syllables if your last name is 1-2 syllables, or 2 syllables if your surname is 3+ syllables

[name_u]Love[/name_u] 3 syllables with [name_u]Blaise[/name_u]!
[name_u]Blaise[/name_u] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
[name_u]Blaise[/name_u] [name_u]Cameron[/name_u]
[name_u]Blaise[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]
Our last name is 5 syllables (and it doesn’t go with anything so I just have to ignore it, ha). I think you are right, Dinosaursroar, that something classic would go well with it. We named our first [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] to try to achieve that balance. [name_m]Even[/name_m] with the 5 syllable surname, I still like some of the 3 syllable ones!
And blaise11, we don’t know if it is a boy or girl yet, maybe we will stick with [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] either way!

That’s what my parents did… loved the name so they were going to use it either way
So funny because [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is the first thing I thought of.
