[name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] are my favorites.

I’m sorry, I do not care for this name at all. None of the options appeal to me, though I love [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] they just sound awkward with [name_m]Booker[/name_m]. Sorry.

I voted [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] because, well, I adore [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. I prefer [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]John[/name_m], and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] to the last two options just because [name_m]Booker[/name_m] feels a bit like a surname (though I know it has history as a first name), so I prefer a middle that’s not also surname-y.

[name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] is super handsome.

Ha! That totally hadn’t crossed my mind at all! My [name_m]BIL[/name_m]'s initials are B.J. and my husband said it’s never been an issue for him. I’m not too worried. I actually love [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] (but hate [name_u]Nick[/name_u]/[name_u]Nic[/name_u]–so it is perfect as a middle name) but my husband thinks there might be too much K sound in [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].

Hmmm. Maybe I’m just overly sensitive pregnant woman, but if you hate the name and all the middle names with it, then why even respond?

This is exactly the issue I was having with the others. I like them, especially MacAbee, but it does seem like surname overload, especially since our last name is two short hyphenated surnames.

Fair Warning - just in case you haven’t thought about it -

[name_m]Booker[/name_m] sounds like Booger, and rhymes with Hooker

Did I use the word “hate”? No, I think if you re-read my comment you’ll notice that wasn’t what I said. I did actually say I love a few of your middles. [name_f]Imo[/name_f] [name_m]Booker[/name_m] would be a really tough name for a child to wear, for a number of reasons. That’s my honest opinion. If you were looking for sugarcoated answers or for only people who loved your choice to respond, perhaps you should avoid public forums, or state as much in your original post.

[name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] and [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] are my favorite.

I’m so pleased that you are likely choosing [name_m]Booker[/name_m]. I love it! So strong and handsome. I voted for [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], but also really like [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] and [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m].

I voted for [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] and I think [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] looks good as well. I love [name_m]Booker[/name_m]! My husband and I are ttc and if we conceive and have a son we’re strongly considering it.

Wow. That was rather insensitive.
It also seems that she wasn’t asking for opinions on the name they’ve already chosen, but on combos.
Anyway.
I voted for [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Coltrane[/name_m], I just think it sounds neat. [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] are my next favorites.

I adore [name_m]Booker[/name_m]! [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is getting my vote. I like it a lot. But I legitimately love all of them except for [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m]! And that’s not even bad–I just come from a family where every other guy (if not more than that!) is named [name_m]John[/name_m], so I’m really over it, even as an honor name. It takes a really great combo for me to be able to agree to just [name_m]John[/name_m].

[name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] gets my vote. It sounds the best to my ear. My second choice is [name_m]Booker[/name_m] MacAbee.

It was a tie between [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]. In the end I voted for the combo with [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], mainly because [name_u]James[/name_u] is such a common middle name - perhaps because it so perfectly goes with almost every first name!
