[name_u]Baby[/name_u] Is due in [name_f]July[/name_f] and we have chosen not to find out the gender! It is very exciting. We have a boy name on lock and literally under lock and key. We aren’t sharing our names with anyone [name_m]IRL[/name_m], but I need some feedback on our girl middle name and knew I could find it here!
We [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_f]Briar[/name_f] but can’t decide on a middle. We like the flow of a one syllable middle name but would be open to the right fit. My husband likes the traditional [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (sleeping beauty) and so do I, but I would like her to have a more unique idenity.
So far we have:
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_u]Kay[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] (this name is so sweet and totally not my normal style but for some reason I can’t let it go. I wonder if it sounds too “adult film star” though…)
We are not huge fans of the trendy top names so those are out for these suggestions, please!
I really love [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]- very sleek and sophisticated with the princessy charm of [name_f]Briar[/name_f] balanced by the quiet and calm [name_u]Grey[/name_u], and a lot more unexpected than the usual [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (which is still beautiful).
Firstly: if you named yourself after the band Electric Guest you have fantastic taste in music
Secondly: [name_f]Briar[/name_f] is really nice, I know a girl called [name_f]Briar[/name_f], except her mum spelt it Bryher like the island.
Thirdly:
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Mave[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]/[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] would be a nice alternative to [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
I also like [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. I don’t think it sounds like an “adult movie star” at all!!!
I love [name_f]Briar[/name_f]! [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] was my first idea, but if you want a one-syllable name, maybe [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]? [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]? [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Bea[/name_f] (I don’t know; it’s totally not something I’d go for, traditionally, but I love it anyway!)? [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]? [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u], and [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]!
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is the standout for me. It matches the loveliness and enchantment of [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
I also really like [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
From suggestions you’ve received I thought there were all very nice:
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_u]Lake[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_u]Kay[/name_u] is lovely. I wouldn’t use [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or a variation of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a middle name. It just doesn’t seem like a name.
