Middle Name for Castle

We’re expecting a little girl, but we’ve decided to pick out some boy’s names just in case we get surprised! We love the very unusual name Castle, but we’re lost on a middle name. Any ideas? Our last name is Hendricksen.

[name]Do[/name] you ave a family names you can use in the middle? Something well established maybe to balance out Castle?

I like the name Castle - My sister was friends with a girl named Kastle a few years ago. I think Castle [name]James[/name], Castle [name]Leopold[/name], Castle [name]David[/name], Castle [name]Barnaby[/name] or Castle [name]Nicholas[/name] all sound good.

I’m not sure that Castle is the best choice for a family that is constantly moving all over the globe. If I were you I would want a name that translates into many different languages. I’d strongly suggest putting that versatile name in the middle spot.

Castle [name]Thomas[/name]
Castle [name]William[/name]
Castle [name]Alexander[/name]
Castle [name]Charles[/name]
Castle [name]Matthew[/name]
Castle [name]James[/name]
Castle [name]Paul[/name]
Castle [name]Nicholas[/name]
Castle [name]Peter[/name]

I [name]LOVE[/name] Castle as a name, it’s on my list for a boy. No idea though I’m still looking for nice middle name too!

I don’t think it’s a good option. However, the names of specific castles could be awesome: Briavel, [name]Windsor[/name], Conwy, Bowes, [name]Durham[/name], Restormel…

Agreed. This is a much better idea especially as you move around a lot. If you ever live in the UK, poor Castle is going to get laughed at. I also agree that you’d need a name that would be easier to pronounce in lots of different languages.
