We’ll start TTC later this year and [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] has shot straight to the top of my list if we have a girl. It flows really well with SOs surname and I love the nicknames [name_u]Coco[/name_u] or Cozy.
Except I’m not feeling like any of my usual go-to middle names are the one. Although I do like [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] (which I know was an old fave of @katinka’s) so they’re on the maybe list.
What middles would you suggest for [name_f]Cosima[/name_f]? Short or long, feminine or unisex, classic or brave, I’m open to them all!
@LouC Thank you! I love [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u]. As lovely as it is, [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] might be a little too Orphan [name_m]Black[/name_m] for me!
@Greyblue Thanks, I’m glad you think so! I love [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u], [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f].
@eireann [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is awesome, although I think I slightly prefer the flow of [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f], which I’ve also seen people mention around the forums before. It would be a great way to honour both of our grandmothers though - [name_u]June[/name_u] were their first (his) and middle (mine) names.
@Oblivious_octopus Thanks! I love [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_u]Lark[/name_u] and [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Moon[/name_f] looks stunning, but my mouth trips over the double M a bit, unfortunately.
[name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] has been on my long list for ages and ages! I love the repeating long-o sounds, and the imagery I get from this combo is magical - a deep midnight blue sprinkled with silver stars and clouds of dusty pink, like a nebula. [name_m]Just[/name_m] thought I would add that one to the pot!
I usually try to avoid [name_f]Rose[/name_f] in the middle as it’s quite common/expected but, you’re right, with something as unusual and elegant as [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] it does sound beautiful. Thanks!
I rather like [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] being rather unexpected in the middle name spot and L names sounding good with [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] in general!
[name_f]Beautiful[/name_f]! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]! They really do sound lovely together. Thank you, adding it to the list.
