We had finally settled on a name, it was a miracle! [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Grace[/name], which we thought was feminine and timeless.
Then I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that her initials would be EGG, since our last name begins with a ‘G’. Now my husband is anti-[name]Grace[/name], although I could let it go.
Here are a few of our ideas, but we’re not in love with any of them:
I like [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] best from your list… But here are a few more!
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Kay[/name] (Although will EKG bother you? Maybe she’ll be a cardiologist!)
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Maye[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Faye[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Gray[/name] (I am liking these 1 syllable names)
My grandmother’s name is [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Mae[/name]…always thought it was so beautiful. And how cute is [name]Ella[/name] [name]Mae[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Mae[/name]? It just rolls of the tongue and I picture a beautiful sweet little girl.
I grew up with the initials ODD so I agree that it’s somewhat important to consider initials! However, EGG isn’t so bad. If you really love [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Grace[/name] I say go for it!
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]: very pretty, and has the classic feel you’re looking for.
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Adrienne[/name]: these don’t seem to fit. [name]Adrienne[/name] (on a girl at least) feels pretty modern to me
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Anne[/name]: another lovely choice; I like the 3-1 syllable sound.
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]: I love [name]Quinn[/name], but with a name ending in -r I think you might need a middle that’s a little softer.
Olivegreen I love [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Jane[/name]! I really like the 3-1 syllable count it seems, which is I think why [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Grace[/name] has such a good flow in the first place. My other grandmother’s middle name is [name]June[/name], and I don’t know when the baby is going to be born but if its in [name]June[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]June[/name] could be very cute
