So my husband is set on Emilia for our second baby girl due in May, I do love it but wasn’t sure it was ‘the one’ until I found myself calling her that which I guess means we have decided! We are struggling for middle names though so I’m hoping you can help. Her big sister is called Eva Rose and we like the idea of floral/nature themed names. So far we have:-
Emilia May/Mae (she’s due in May)
Emilia Daisy
Emilia Belle
Emilia Lily (hubby thinks it’s a bit of a tongue twister)
Emilia Ivy or Iris
Emilia Violet
Emilia April (she could be born in April)

I think the flow just depends on the last name and middle combo you choose! So I wouldn’t write off any one-syllable names just based on their length. [name_m]Say[/name_m] the full names out loud and see how you feel. Also, she will probably rarely be called by her full proper name. I’d pick the first/middle combo you like best!

Naming her [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]April[/name_f] because she was born in those months feels too on the nose to me personally.
