For some time now, I’ve been loving the name [name_f]Fay[/name_f]/[name_f]Faye[/name_f] as a first, cause it feels so classy, feminine and unique. However I’d like to see which spelling do you beeries prefer. I personaly love [name_f]Faye[/name_f] as I feel like [name_f]Fay[/name_f] is incomplete without the -e.
I’d also like to get nice middle names for [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. Since it’s a short name, the best ones to follow are long and feminine names. Any ideas?
I love [name_f]Fay[/name_f]! It’s my mom’s name, though, so I’m biased. I prefer the [name_f]Fay[/name_f] spelling, because I don’t understand why the name needs the -e at the end. But my mom does have to go around saying “[name_f]Fay[/name_f], F-A-Y, no e” all the time. I think [name_f]Fay[/name_f] needs a longer middle name.
I agree, the name [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is really pretty. I like the spelling [name_f]Faye[/name_f] more than [name_f]Fay[/name_f], and I also like [name_f]Fae[/name_f] =]
[name_m]Long[/name_m], feminine names are my favorite, so here are a few suggestions.
I have a coworker who is Filipino and her name is [name_f]Fe[/name_f] (pronounced the same as [name_f]Faye[/name_f]). I love the name with any spelling, though I prefer it with the ‘e’ as well.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Emelyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] both look and sound lovely.
I really like [name_f]Faye[/name_f]! I prefer the ‘e’ on the end, looks a bit more feminine and complete to me.
I love some of the suggestions already-[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] or [name_f]Fay[/name_f] is a gorgeous name, but personally I prefer the more word-y version [name_f]Fey[/name_f] or [name_f]Fae[/name_f]. I definitely don’t care for [name_f]Faye[/name_f] as it looks more dated and is the furthest from the word.
[name_f]Fey[/name_f] [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] ([name_u]Echo[/name_u]) is my favourite combo, but here are some others I really like:
(these are probably quite out-there, but it’s hard to gauge your style from just one name?)

[name_f]Fay[/name_f] [name_f]Mariel[/name_f] or [name_f]Fay[/name_f] [name_f]Muriel[/name_f] or [name_f]Fay[/name_f] [name_f]Mireia[/name_f]

[name_f]Fay[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Fay[/name_f] [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f]
[name_f]Fay[/name_f] [name_f]Zenovia[/name_f]
Fair point, but I think [name_f]Fey[/name_f] and [name_f]Fae[/name_f] are kind of pretentious - and weird. Why not just name her [name_f]Fairy[/name_f] then? lol.
I like the old fashioned style of [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. But then, I’m hugely into old fashioned names that sound like they belong to an old man or an old woman. [name_u]Stanley[/name_u], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]. Those names ring all my bells.
I just love word names ^^ [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] and [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] are also on my list.
[name_m]Even[/name_m] though [name_f]Faye[/name_f] has a lot of history, it seems like an unnecessary misspelling to me. Like [name_f]Kaydence[/name_f]. But everyone sees these kinds of things differently, and I’ll agree that [name_f]Faye[/name_f] has more of the vintage vibe you seem to like. I want my names to have a magical vibe to them, so I prefer the [name_f]Fey[/name_f]/[name_f]Fae[/name_f] spelling.
I agree. I prefer the [name_f]Fae[/name_f]/[name_f]Fey[/name_f] spelling too! I love word names and prefer my names to have a magical, fantasy, fairytale/storybook vibe to them.
Between [name_f]Fay[/name_f] and [name_f]Faye[/name_f] I prefer the [name_f]Fay[/name_f] spelling. Adding the “e” on the end just looks a little clunky to me. Either way it’s a lovely name!
