Feeling quite warm and fuzzy about the name [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] for our little guy due in [name_u]July[/name_u], and I’d love for some opinions on a great, strong, fitting middle name! His brothers are [name_m]Eli[/name_m] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], both with middle names from our family. We have some other men in our family that we’d like to honour - [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m], [name_u]Michael[/name_u], and [name_m]Eric[/name_m] - but I’m not loving any of them paired with [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m].

[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] is nice! I think it flows really well It also kind of honours [name_m]Eric[/name_m], since it contains the letters
This is a really small consideration, but in [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Bronte[/name_f]'s the Tenant of Wildfell [name_m]Hall[/name_m], there are two characters called [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] - I don’t think many people will know that and I think it’s pretty cool, but it’s just what I thought of when I read it
[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] and [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] aren’t terrible. Maybe a different form of one of the honor names you want? [name_m]John[/name_m], [name_m]Sean[/name_m], or [name_m]Ian[/name_m] to honor the [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m], that sort of thing?
[name_m]Just[/name_m] realized that [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] is the name of a character in The Vampire Diaries! That combo feels a little weird now.
[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] is great. I like [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], but I think I prefer [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m].
[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] is a wonderful name. ([name_f]Anne[/name_f] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables love!) Of your options, I think it pairs beautifully with [name_m]Christopher[/name_m].
