We don’t know what we’ve having yet, but my husband and I like the name [name]Ivy[/name] for a girl, but are undecided on a middle name. Background info: We have a son named [name]William[/name] ([name]Will[/name]). My husband is Scottish and Spanish. I am Scottish and Irish. Ideally, we’d like a name that nods to our heritages. Please keep in mind that we need to avoid any C, F or P names… or anything else that may cause tease-worthy initials, as our last name definitely has that potential if we’re not careful. Thanks!
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Gwyneth[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
I love [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] with [name]William[/name]! Such a beautiful name.
I think [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] are your nicest options. Have you considered [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name] instead of [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Gwyneth[/name]? [name]Ivy[/name] is such a sweet name. It’s on my long list, but my husband has already told me he dislikes it. Men.
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] is so pretty!I think with such a short first name, it’s definitely worth getting a long middle name, unless you have a super long last name, in which case middle length is best.
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] flows so beautifully!! I also love [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Jane[/name].
I like [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] most, even if her initials would be IQ!
[name]How[/name] about
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Caitriona[/name], the Scottish version of [name]Katherine[/name].
Or [name]Caoimhe[/name] [name]Ivy[/name], for a fabulous double V sound (“KWEE-vah”)
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is one of my all time favorite combos!
Celtic middle ideas: [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Bedelia[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Catriona[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Rosaleen[/name_f]
You have great taste
[name_m]William[/name_m] is my #1 name for a future boy, and I really love [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] for a girl. I actually have [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as my [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] combo atm so that’s my favourite. I think [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] looks best with a longer middle name, so I like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] too.
[name_m]William[/name_m] could honour your Scottish side via [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Wallace[/name_u], so perhaps the Irish or Spanish heritage could be honoured through [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]? [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Josefina[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Margarita[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Paloma[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Fionnuala[/name_f]?
