DH and myself are struggling with middle names to go with [name]Jace[/name] (rhymes with [name]Chase[/name]). If our baby is a girl, we plan on naming her [name]Elise[/name] [name]Elinor[/name]. DH absolutely loves the first name [name]Jace[/name]; however, boy middle names have been a sticking point. DH has already vetoed [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Samuel[/name], [name]Michael[/name], and [name]Matthew[/name]. He said he wanted a stronger, more masculine middle name. His picks are [name]Julian[/name] and [name]Hayden[/name] which I don’t particularly like nor think are masculine sounding. Last name would be similar to [name]Rogers[/name] so “A” names could be problematic as the initials would be JAR which makes me think of the marines.
[name]Jace[/name] [name]Hudson[/name]
[name]Jace[/name] [name]Kingston[/name]
[name]Jace[/name] [name]Wesley[/name]
[name]Jace[/name] [name]Maddox[/name]
[name]Jace[/name] [name]Parker[/name]
[name]Jace[/name] [name]Liam[/name]
[name]Jace[/name] [name]Paxton[/name]
[name]Just[/name] some ideas
I think a 2 syllable middle name is necessary with [name]Jace[/name].
Such different styles [name]Elise[/name] [name]Elinor[/name] and [name]Jace[/name] ____. But my vote is [name]Jace[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]! [name]Even[/name] with JAR. Second would be [name]Jace[/name] [name]Weston[/name].
Thanks for the great suggestions so far. I fully admit that [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Jace[/name] are different styles. Basically, [name]Elise[/name] is more my style and [name]Jace[/name] is more DH’s style. We also considered [name]Silas[/name], [name]Reid[/name], [name]Shane[/name], [name]Grey[/name], [name]Seth[/name], [name]Ian[/name], and [name]Micah[/name] for a boy. For girls, we also considered [name]Elle[/name], [name]Alice[/name], [name]Jane[/name], [name]Serena[/name], [name]Clary[/name], [name]Freya[/name], and [name]Rebecca[/name]. In the end we decided that I could pick the first name for a girl and he got to pick for a boy. Our family is so large (I have over 10 aunts and uncles on my side alone and his family is equally large) with grandmothers and some great-grandmothers still alive that we decided not to use family names as we’ll never have enough kids to honor everyone without someone feeling hurt.
Of the combos listed…I love [name]Jace[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] but unfortunately, DH just vetoed it. I also really like [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Dominic[/name], [name]Christopher[/name], and [name]Henry[/name] so I’ll have to see how he reacts to those combos. Hopefully, something will “spark” for him. Thanks again for all the suggestions.
