Does [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] sound okay?
I am hoping to use [name_m]Cole[/name_m] for our sons middle name because it’s my mother’s maiden name and she passed away recently. A sweet way to include my
Mom on a day that will be so hard to not have her with.
If [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] sounds too weird, we are considering [name_m]Drake[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] also.
Our other children are [name_u]Khai[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u].
So beautiful that you are looking to honour your mum with [name_m]Cole[/name_m] for your next child’s name. I’m sorry for your loss and it sounds like you had such a special relationship.
Personally, I think both proposed first names are a little hard to say with [name_m]Cole[/name_m] immediately following but not super difficult. Would you consider putting another middle - a 2-syllable middle - before [name_m]Cole[/name_m]?
For example:
[name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_u]Aster[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]
[name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]
Also, [name_m]Cole[/name_m] as a first name would be a sweet set with your other two kiddos too.
I think [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] works well. The flow sounds fine to me, especially with a last name added on the end. [name_u]Jett[/name_u] is great as a brother for [name_u]Khai[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], too, and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is clearly very meaningful.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I hope you use [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. I love, love that it is your favourite name and the middle is such a meaningful honour name. They are fine together and using the name you love AND such a meaningful one trumps perfect flow anyway. [name_u]Jett[/name_u] is better with [name_m]Cole[/name_m] than [name_m]Drake[/name_m] IMO as the ending of [name_m]Drake[/name_m] runs into [name_m]Cole[/name_m] a bit. He will be known as [name_u]Jett[/name_u] (last name) and if those two names go well together that is most important and I think you have a winner.
I love [name_u]Jett[/name_u] and love that you want to honor your mom.
Would you consider something like [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_m]Coleman[/name_m] or [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_m]Coleson[/name_m]? I think the longer name flows better, but [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] could work!
I think [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] sounds fine, esepcially as [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is an honour! [name_u]Jett[/name_u] is lovely and I prefer it to [name_m]Drake[/name_m] (esp with Cole)
