After months of stalking the Nameberry forums, I decided to join the conversation. I’m not expecting, but I am currently rethinking my favourite names, and I would love to know what others think. I’m a fan of both Victorian names and names from Greek mythology, and I’m looking for a middle name for [name]Katherine[/name].
I adore the name [name]Kate[/name], for either an adult or a child. I like [name]Katherine[/name] too, but for more formal situations.
As for middle names:
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Michaela[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
For two middle names:
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Anne[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Michaela[/name] [name]Reese[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Laine[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Reeve[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Leigh[/name]
Today I was thinking of middle names for [name]Eliza[/name] and thought of [name]Katherine[/name], but I think [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] sounds pretty too!
I love [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], and [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Laine[/name]. I think [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Laine[/name] is my favourite of all of them.
I had considered two girls’ names: [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] and [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]. I have decided against [name]Seraphina[/name] (it has become too trendy all of a sudden), but I still like [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name].
I’m leaning toward [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]… but I’d also love to hear more middle name options, if anyone has them.
I personally prefer [name]Kate[/name], but I would name your baby [name]Katherine[/name] so she has the option of choosing which she prefers.
Funny, I just thought of a lovely [name]Katherine[/name] combo today! [name]Katherine[/name] [name]Johanna[/name] [name]Maria[/name], with [name]Johanna[/name] pronounced yo-hahn-ah. I think it sounds very elegant and regal!
