I’m having trouble finding a middle name I like for [name_f]Laura[/name_f]. At the moment, I’m loving [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Laura[/name_f] together as a sibset, but I’m at a loss to finding something I love to complement [name_f]Laura[/name_f]. I’m looking for something rather traditional, but not well worn (what I mean by well worn: [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]). Any suggestions?
I know you aren’t looking for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but my name is [name_f]Laura[/name_f] and my middle name is just [name_f]Beth[/name_f]. I always thought [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] has a nice ring to it!
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] is my name and my middle names are [name_f]Leona[/name_f] [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] but they work alone with [name_f]Laura[/name_f] too.
I’ve toyed with [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] as possible combos on my list, so you might like those too.
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Danielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Denisse[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Melodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
Hum… [name_f]My[/name_f] suggestions are all french names…
I also like [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], but you have already said you don’t want it, so these four combos are the best I can think for [name_f]Laura[/name_f].
Good luck!
I like [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] / [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f].
I’ve tossed around [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f], as [name_f]Maria[/name_f] is the name of a dear friend of mine.
Not exactly sold on [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Gillian[/name_f] or [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], but they caught my eye. Perhaps they can grow on me because I’m liking the sound of them together. Very nice!
I really, really like the sound of [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], but I’m concerned about the As running into one another when pronounced together. But oh, I do like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].
chrryblssmgrl - [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] is a terribly sweet name. [name_m]How[/name_m] lucky you are! [name_f]My[/name_f] niece’s middle name is [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], which is one of the reasons I’m trying to avoid using it, but I am kind of in love with the sound of [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Bess[/name_f]. What do you all think?
snowqueen13 - You have a fantastic name. Your names fit nicely together.
[name_f]My[/name_f] sister suggested [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] to me; what are your thoughts on it? I rather love it. Here are some other combos that I thought of that I’d like to get your opinions on:
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Bess[/name_f] is really sweet! I think in general there’s something I like about the 1 syllable after [name_f]Laura[/name_f], probably because I’m just so used to it myself!
I like the way [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Gillian[/name_f] flows though too.
Here are some combos that popped up in my head:
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Isolde[/name_f]
I adore [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f], and [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]! Especially [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]! The [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] connection for both [name_f]Helen[/name_f] and [name_f]Laura[/name_f]'s middle names would be so cool.
