So hubby seems to have come around on Sarah so I’m adding her to my girls list. Now I just need a middle name. Our last name is Ty$0n. I’d love suggestions and feedback on these ideas.
Sarah Regina - I like that it’s Marian and a bit different. Usually the repeating -a ending would bother me, but not in this combo though it makes me nervous that it’s there. My favorite of the moment. What do you think?
Sarah May - Like that it’s Marian though I prefer May as a nickname, dh always seems to like it.
Sarah Elizabeth - so classic - nearly named my 2nd daughter this
I used to love [name]Sarah[/name] until 3 of them became my friend… The name was too popular for me when I was growing up, but today it would be nice to hear.
I wouldn’t do [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Regina[/name]. [name]Sarah[/name] means princess and [name]Regina[/name] means queen, so it’s a bit too much princess for me…
[name]Sarah[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is adorable.
I thought of that but not sure it should be a deal breaker since very few people really know the meaning of names and we don’t mean that she’s a queen rather that [name]Mary[/name] is the [name]Queen[/name].
Some [name]Marian[/name] names I like with [name]Sarah[/name]:
[name]Maris[/name]
[name]Luz[/name]
[name]Lourdes[/name]
[name]Marie[/name]
[name]Marina[/name]
Also [name]Magdalena[/name]. Different [name]Mary[/name], but still, pretty name.
Another variation is [name]Madeline[/name].
I don’t mind [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Regina[/name], but it does have those repeating “rah re” sounds. If you love it you should go for it.
[name]Sarah[/name] [name]May[/name] has a better flow, but [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Regina[/name] feels more powerful to me.
I love [name]Sarah[/name]! [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Delaney[/name] was an old combo of mine, then [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. I still really love [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Regina[/name] is my favorite of your combos, too! There’s just something about it. I also really like [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. Being just [name]Christian[/name], but not Catholic, I’m not exactly sure what a [name]Marian[/name] name is, lol, so I can’t really help you there, but I do like the suggestions of [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Lourdes[/name] and [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Luz[/name] a lot! I knew a girl named [name]Luz[/name] growing up, I always thought it was pretty cool. She got called [name]Lucy[/name] a lot, which I thought was pretty awesome, too. Seeing how I know you love [name]Lucy[/name], too, I figured I’d mention it.
My name is [name]Sarah[/name], my mn is [name]Louise[/name]. (My family nn is either [name]Sari[/name] [name]Lou[/name], or just [name]Lou[/name].) I also know 2 [name]Sarah[/name]'s under 5, one with the mn [name]Elizabeth[/name] and the other [name]Jean[/name].
I’m not into [name]Regina[/name] and [name]Sarah[/name] [name]May[/name] is very ho-hum. [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is the best pick and is a lovely classic.
But I do like the idea of a ‘whimsical’ name in the middle, something with spunk to offset a classic [name]Sarah[/name].
I love [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Felicity[/name]. In fact I’d use [name]Felicity[/name] as a first name but I don’t care for how the ending “s” and “t” sounds blend with Ty$0n. [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] is beautiful but again I’m not sure I like the “s” sound at the end with my last name. I really just live vicariously through all the berries as my husband and I haven’t pick any whimsical names. My kids middles are: [name]Stephen[/name], [name]Joseph[/name], [name]Philip[/name], [name]Michelle[/name] and [name]Rose[/name].
[name]Sarah[/name] is one of my favorites and were I to ever personally use it, I’d probably use [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], because my twin sister is called [name]Elizabeth[/name].
However other combos I have on my list (sorry for any repeats):
