I am pregnant with baby #2 and it’s a girl! We really like the name [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] but I’m having a hard time coming up with a middle name. Our last name has three syllables, so I feel like it should be on the shorter side. However, I dislike most of the one syllable middle names because they feel too choppy.
Due in [name_u]December[/name_u], so entertaining the idea of [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], just not sure if we love it or not.
I like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] although it seems very “red” since [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is a shade of red and [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and red are both so associated with [name_u]Christmas[/name_u].
Honestly the combination of the two makes the [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] stand out more to me than just the fact she’ll be born in [name_u]December[/name_u]. I think it’s still a very pretty combination :).

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is lovely a great name for a [name_u]December[/name_u] baby due to the strong Christmassy colour association. I think [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] also makes a lovely middle name.
I love the idea of a [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] inspired middle name so here are some suggestions
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is the perfect name for a beautiful and joyful [name_u]December[/name_u] birth! Maybe even [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] Noëlle if you have any [name_u]French[/name_u] ancestry at all. But as another poster said, the name does come across very red, and I mean… [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is the quintessential red name, heck it’s a shade of the color! And a bright one at that. Now as for [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], I see it as red due to the seasonal association but taking the name as just a plain name by itself, I see [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] as mostly being dark green. But if it isn’t your complete cup of tea here are some other cozy but short suggestions to fit with magnificent [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]:
Wow, lots of great suggestions. Thank you all so much!
I was also thinking about the idea of using [name_u]Jade[/name_u]. I love the name and thought having two names that mean [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] colors might be fun. But then I thought it might be too much. I also like [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] as a middle name. Maybe I am just really drawn to color names lol.
I think [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is cute!!
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Emelie[/name_f] (long, but I like it)

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is gorgeous. Such a sparky, special name! I think [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] has a nice flow, and I love [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] as well! More December-esque middles could be…
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Natasha[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Christa[/name_f]

I adore [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f], myself!! So sweet and light. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Natasha[/name_f] also has a really gorgeous ring. It’s very [name_u]Marvel[/name_u], though, which turns me off of it a tad.

Of [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_u]Jade[/name_u], and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], I like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] best, but I’m not a huge fan of the double tt and double ll, so I would do [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f].
Otherwise, I absolutely love [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. I know it’s one syllable but I think it flows well.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites from this list are [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u]. With [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] I wonder if it’s weird to have two color names. But it sounds so pretty.
