I am in the process of adopting my four-year-old stepdaughter, [name_f]Selena[/name_f]. A name change can be part of the process, and since she has no middle name currently we have decided that will be my contribution to her existing name.
Her surname is three syllables, begins with an “E” and ends with “-ya”. I love names that end in an “a” but considering that both her first and last names already do, feel that I should perhaps avoid it in her middle name. She is half [name_m]French[/name_m] and half Spanish.
I’ve been getting her input on names as well, and so far she has only liked three enough to keep them in the running. I would like some input between those three options and would love any suggestions you might have for us to consider as well! Our list:

I think my favourite is [name_f]Selena[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. I love the name [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], and its fits your criteria of not ending with an a. Plus its usually a great idea to use family names My first thought was [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f]. Such a beautiful and lovely name! But it ends with an a and also starts/ends the same as your last name. Same with [name_f]Estrella[/name_f]. A few other suggestions (although I’m not sure you need them, seems like you have a awesome shortlist)
