[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] has been one of those names I’ve had a crush on since high school, I was wondering what you thought of it?
Also what you think would suit as a middle?
I have [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] as my number 1 name, but my son hates it.
What do you think of [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]?
I feel like I can’t use [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] because of the ah sound at the end of both of them.
But then there’s the A at the start of [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]! I constantly waffle between just [name_f]Tess[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. I’m currently trying to decide between [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Ofelia[/name_f] for my own list. But it’s taken me EONS to find two combos I like myself, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be rubbish at suggesting them? The last attempt I had was [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], which I still like okay, but it just didn’t have enough staying power.
[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is so great!
I like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] a lot, though I prefer just [name_f]Tess[/name_f] ([name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]…)
I really dislike [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. Reminds me of the British slang word ‘tosser’ (typically refers to anyone of whom you have a low opinion off) so I don’t like it.
I prefer [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] (that’s my name as you can see lol). It’s very cute which isn’t a bad thing but it may not age very well, but it’s nice nonetheless.
I don’t really like nicknames as first names, what about a name like [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and then calling her [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]? It would probably be easier to find a cute middle name too.
I love this suggestion, I love the name [name_f]Esther[/name_f], it’s on my list but never concieved the idea of a nn as [name_f]Tess[/name_f]/[name_f]Tessa[/name_f].
One of the problems I had with [name_f]Esther[/name_f] was it’s unfeminine feel, and I love super girly names.
I’m going to have to start a new thread now.
My name is [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]! I love my name and I’ve always been complimented on my name ever since I can remember. My middle name is dear to my heart and holds a special connection to my adoption when I was a baby, but I’ll happily share it with you. It’s [name_f]Dior[/name_f]. So, [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Dior[/name_f]. I think it’s the perfect middle name for my first name. It means “gold” or “golden” in [name_m]French[/name_m]. My daughter also has it as her middle name (Andelyn [name_f]Dior[/name_f]).
I agree with a previous poster that a short and sweet middle name goes best with the name [name_f]Tessa[/name_f].
If you love [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] & would consider using it w/[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] but are put off by the two -a endings, what about [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] (Mah-TILD)? [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f]?
