My friend is pregnant with her first child and fell in love with the name [name_f]Theodora[/name_f], nn [name_f]Dot[/name_f]/[name_f]Dottie[/name_f], based on your suggestions! I would love to hear what combos you suggest and help her finalize a name.
What middle names do you think work well? Surname is three syllables and starts with D…
Wouldn’t it be cute if her initials spelled [name_f]DOT[/name_f] backwards? [name_m]TOD[/name_m]? Maybe? I think a max 2-syll name would be best with a 4-syll fn and 3-syll sn.
@ schickler - I think [name_f]Dottie[/name_f] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is absolute perfection! I think my friend will love it too.
@ britkarma - I love [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] as well but my friend has her heart set on [name_f]Dottie[/name_f]/[name_f]Dot[/name_f]…I will probably call the little lady [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] myself I think [name_f]May[/name_f] is a fantastic suggestion and flows well with the first and last name.
I agree with both of you…a shorter name is probably going to be best since both the first and last names are lonnngggg.
[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u] was my first thought (I keep it on my own list) but with the last name being D. I guess it depends on the flow.
