Help! Husband and I are struggling with a middle name for baby girl [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. Prefer 1 or 3+ syllable names due to last name also having 2 syllables.
Husbands top middle name is [name_f]Melody[/name_f]. Mine is [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Lynne[/name_f] although I am aware [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Lynne[/name_f] sounds like “violin”. Would love some help and feedback!
hi there! violet is super gorgeous and one if my favourites xx
i really love violet melody!
i do like both jane and lynne with violet but i do think they sound a little like ‘filler’ middle names.
i agree violet lynne sounds a bit like violin but that isn’t unpleasant so if you really like it then i don’t think that should be a major issue.
perhaps a name with the ‘lynn’ sound in it for the middle spot might break it up more like violet adalyn or violet evelyn? x
i think with the consonant ending of violet it sounds really nice with a vowel middle so that the names flow together.
you might like:
violet elodie
violet emmeline or even emmelyn
violet amelie
violet evaine (rhymes with jane)
violet imogen (similarish sound to jane at the end)
you might also like these one syllable names:
violet june
violet jean
violet rue
violet bea
violet eve
violet belle
violet nell
i would personally avoid any colour names or flower names with violet xx
I love the sound of [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Melody[/name_f], the latter especially invokes some melodical imagery. I also love~
violet melody is beautiful!
my real name is violet april but I go by lennie. Here are some of my suggestions:
violet imogen
violet ruth
violet eleanora
violet cecelia
violet vivienne
violet ophelia
violet grace
violet lillian
violet cassidy
violet penelope
violet sage
violet mae
violet aurora
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Melody[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] are lovely! Not so keen on [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Lynne[/name_f], but if you really wanted it, perhaps add a second middle? ie [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Lynne[/name_f]. or a name ending with lynne? Violey [name_f]Marilynne[/name_f] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Emmalynne[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Melody[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] = both exceptionally pretty and gentle sounding names. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] I prefer a bit more.
