We’ll be TTC baby 2 this year and our son’s name is [name_m]Foster[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] has slowly edged out the others as our favorite girl name. I know they both end in -ter which doesn’t really bother me. I love the nickname [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] and I’m aware [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] & [name_m]Foster[/name_m] is pretty [name_m]Tuck[/name_m] Everlasting but that doesn’t bother me too much either. My issue is finding a middle name for [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. I think it needs something pretty girly and frilly for some reason. We’ve tossed around these but I’d love more suggestions or favorites from these:
[name_u]Love[/name_u] that your thinking of using [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. It’s also a bit more fresh than [name_f]Summer[/name_f] and [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] (which is a plus in my book). [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] does seem a bit too [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]-y to me. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] are both solid choices imo.
[name_m]Foster[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is a lovely name. From your suggestions, I like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]. The [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] thing doesn’t bother me too much, since it’s not likely many people will know her middle name, and for those that do, it’s not really something that holds a lot of teasing potential. She might get asked if she was a [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] baby, but that’s about the worst I can think of.

@lovemysweeties, I tossed around [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] before but again felt it was too [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]-y maybe. We still love [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] but an online friend I talk to often used it recently so seeing it a lot seems to have made it lose some spark. It was always SO’s favorite and I was good with it but I’m not sure I’ve ever 100% loved it. I threw out [name_u]Winter[/name_u] this week and SO loved it and it’s grown a lot on both of us. It’s giving me that excited feeling.

I love the flow of [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] but it does feel a bit “themed” to me, and [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] doesn’t feel as fresh to me as [name_m]Foster[/name_m]'s middle name of [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. I don’t know, I guess I’ve seen it quite a bit before. [name_m]How[/name_m] about something like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Giselle[/name_f] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] to get the same rhythm but with a fresh, feminine feel?
