Middle name Grey vs Gray for a girl?

We are team green, I’m due in one week and we are still torn over the spelling of baby’s middle name if it’s a girl! Which spelling do you prefer for a girl, Grey vs Gray? We are leaning toward the first name Olivia and our last name is similar to Hampton.

I prefer Grey! It’s my little cousin’s name (she’s a girl too)!

I like the look of [name_u]Gray[/name_u]

Is Grey/Gray an honor name? If so, I would spell it as the individual you are honoring. If not, I prefer [name_u]Grey[/name_u].

Typically, I prefer [name_u]Grey[/name_u] for a first name but I really love [name_u]Gray[/name_u] as a middle! I had [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] on my list for a while.

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] Grey/Gray is beautiful! I prefer the spelling [name_u]Grey[/name_u], as the other spelling makes the whole name just a tiny bit too “A” heavy in my opinion. But that’s really nitpicking if I absolutely had to find a reason for one or the other; you really can’t go wrong. (: Both are lovely!

I chose spelling [name_u]Grey[/name_u] to break up all the A’s in the other two names

as an american, gray is how i spell the color, so grey feels more name-y to me! it also has more of an elegant feeling, and olivia grey hampton looks beautiful.
