I am really in love with the sound of this name on a girl. I personally only would use it in the middle or 2nd middle name spot.
What do you think?
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it as a middle. It has a nice sound and is strong but soft. I think [name_m]Hayle[/name_m] looks too similar to [name_u]Haley[/name_u] that it would get confused, but Hail works well if you are going for it as a nature name. [name_m]Hale[/name_m] would be my choice of spelling.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it as a middle!! It’s intriguing
I think it could work in the middle well, though I’m not keen on the [name_m]Hayle[/name_m] spelling (I can see it being said [name_f]Hayley[/name_f] the majority of the time). Hail would work if it’s the nature aspect you’d like, but I do like it best spelled [name_m]Hale[/name_m].
I know of a girl named [name_m]Hale[/name_m], and I have always found it intriguing, clean, and a touch posh. Like other posters, I like the [name_m]Hale[/name_m] spelling best.
I think it could work as a middle. It has a soft, open sound with connotations of warmth and health, and the meaning is beautiful! Like the posters before me, I prefer the [name_m]Hale[/name_m] spelling.
I think either hail falling from the sky, or heil Hitler.
[name_f]Hailey[/name_f] is cute, but I don’t think I like [name_m]Hale[/name_m].
Thanks for the replies <3
