[name_m]Hi[/name_m], we have finally found a boys name we both love! [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]!
Our surname sounds a bit like Tamble. We would prefer to honour either or both grandfathers with the middle spot. But with a variation of their names which are :
[name_m]Colin[/name_m]
[name_m]Norbert[/name_m]
So far we have come up with [name_m]Cole[/name_m] for [name_m]Colin[/name_m] and [name_u]North[/name_u] for [name_m]Norbert[/name_m] (meaning northern hero) but the flow of either name with [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] leaves me thinking that we could find something better?
What do you think?
Any ideas? The flow of the name is important to me, so any suggestions are very appreciated!
I like the flow of [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_u]North[/name_u] Tamble. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] is a bit of a tongue twister though…
Nameberry says that [name_m]Colin[/name_m] is a diminutive of [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] sounds great! And this may be a stretch, but the “N” could possibly be honoring [name_m]Norbert[/name_m] as well!
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is great. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_u]North[/name_u] works too. I don’t really have any ideas for variations of [name_m]Colin[/name_m], but you could combine the two to get [name_m]Colbert[/name_m]. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_m]Colbert[/name_m] Tamble? Are you by any chance [name_m]Stephen[/name_m] [name_m]Colbert[/name_m] fans:?
