We are planning to name our baby [name]Jonah[/name]. The other kids have family names in the middle but we are having a hard time deciding on a middle name for this baby. Here are some options and my reservations on each…
[name]Jonah[/name] [name]Michael[/name] (my Dad’s name but my brother already has this as a mn)
[name]Jonah[/name] [name]Kenneth[/name] (DH’s deceased father’s name, his brother has this as a middle)
[name]Jonah[/name] [name]Luther[/name] (DH’s middle name but I don’t care for it)
[name]Jonah[/name] [name]Edmund[/name] (My grandfather’s name, but I’m not sure I like how [name]Jonah[/name] and [name]Edmund[/name] flow together)
[name]Jonah[/name] [name]Harry[/name] (My great grandfather’s name, which I think is cute but I never met him or anything)
[name]Jonah[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] (not a family name but if he is born on St. [name]Patrick[/name]'s [name]Day[/name] I thought this could be nice)
I wish I could think of something else I just love. Right now I think I am leaning toward [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Edmund[/name]. I hate to go back to the drawing board for the first name since we have been calling him [name]Jonah[/name].
I like [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Edmund[/name]…I think it flows nicely! I also like [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Patrick[/name], and how about [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Henry[/name], instead of [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Harry[/name]?
I really like [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Michael[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Kenneth[/name], but I might be a tad bit biased because that is my grandfather’s name ([name]Kenneth[/name] [name]Michael[/name]). Also, I don’t think its a big deal that those names have already been used as a middle name amd I would think that that would be even more of a reason to use them. Good luck!
I love [name]Jonah[/name]! It’s very distinguished. My preference is for [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Edmund[/name], and I actually quite like [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Luther[/name] even though you mentioned you haven’t warmed up to the idea.
