I’m finalising my favourite names, [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f]. I know for a fact I want the middles to be an honour name (or two middles; one an honour, one a favourite).
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] isn’t an obvious honour to my family but my nan wore pearls and I was given a pearl necklace and earrings when she died, so I felt this was special. [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] also honours three people: [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f], [name_f]Kate[/name_f], and my name, [name_f]Eryn[/name_f]. I thought of [name_f]Lily[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], but I’m not a big fan of that name. [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] could just turn to [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and honour one person, thoughts on that? The other middles all directly honour either my father or my grandfathers. This is all hypothetical by the way, I’m just planning for the future.
Please pick one of each, thank you.
Bonus question: [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f]? I am torn on the two and don’t have a favourite, but I obviously can’t use them both!
I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f].
None of your boy middles really jump out at me. I like all of your boy middles individually, but I’m not sure about pairing them with [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. That being said, when it’s an honor name, you can do whatever you want.
I honestly like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] more than [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u]. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] flows better to me. And [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f]. (I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] but I feel like it’s too popular)
I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f], because I am partial to [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f], and [name_f]Lilies[/name_f] are my favorite flower.
I am not too keen on the boy middle names. But, if I had to make a choice, it would be [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m].
I really like [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] best or, if you really want to honor your grandmother still, I think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] sounds really nice. I do prefer [name_f]Lila[/name_f] over [name_f]Lily[/name_f], sound-wise. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] isn’t something you hear very often and I think it’s adorable.
I wouldn’t shorten [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] to [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] sounds like a double-barrel first name, which isn’t a negative thing. It just sounds too short I guess, both names.
I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of any of the other names.
I’d pick [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] for a boy.
