I’m really feeling the name [name_u]Sky[/name_u] or [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] for my third boy due Sept. I have a [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] and an [name_m]Odin[/name_m] 4 and 2.
I can’t seem to find a good middle name though. Nothing sounds quite right. I love earthy names, space names, unique names. Nothing tooo hippy though as [name_u]Sky[/name_u] is pretty out there for a boy by most people’s perception. My husband feels it would go over better as a middle name but I know if I can find a good strong middle name for [name_u]Sky[/name_u] he would like it a lot.
I love [name_u]Sky[/name_u]/[name_u]Skye[/name_u] on a boy or a girl for different reasons, and I’m so glad you are thinking of using it. (I prefer the spelling with an E, personally.)
Ideas:
[name_u]Skyler[/name_u] [name_m]Armstrong[/name_m]: for [name_u]Neil[/name_u] [name_m]Armstrong[/name_m], as you said you liked space names, and the imagery of the word gives the soft [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]/[name_u]Sky[/name_u] a touch of toughness.
[name_u]Sky[/name_u] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]: a little wordy, but brings up beautiful images to me. ([name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is a moon of [name_m]Saturn[/name_m])
[name_u]Sky[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]: I just like the vibe of this one
[name_u]Skyler[/name_u] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]
[name_u]Skyler[/name_u] [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]
Sadly my husband doesn’t seem to like any of them. He wants something with a little more flow.
[name_u]Sky[/name_u] is such a hard name to use as a first! I can think of quite a few combinations with sky as the middle but not the other way around!
I also just like [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m]. I feel like [name_m]John[/name_m] grounds [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] and is really strong.
