We have one boy named [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] [name_m]Von[/name_m], and he goes by [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. We are having a second baby and are working on the boy name. We know the first name would be [name_m]Axel[/name_m], but we don’t have the middle name yet. Last pregnancy we didn’t pick the middle name until the last month! :eek:

Also, we love [name_m]Rafael[/name_m], but are trying to avoid R because both of our parent names start with R.
I wouldn’t mind something Greek sounding like [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m], but I’m going with overall how the middle name works with [name_m]Axel[/name_m].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Axel[/name_m]! From your list I kind of like the double x of [name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m].
Few other thoughts
Absolutely love your first son’s name, and [name_m]Axel[/name_m] is a great name! I like the sound of [name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], but i do agree that they don’t go together perfectly.
[name_m]Axel[/name_m] means “father of peace,” so I found a few middles with nice meanings like that
[name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] - “[name_u]Free[/name_u] man”
[name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] - “peaceful ruler”
[name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m] - “desires peace”
[name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_m]Hughes[/name_m] - [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] means “mind, intellect,” so I assume this meaning is similar
[name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_m]Banks[/name_m] - “one who lives on the hillside or riverbank”
[name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] - “brave in war”
