Middle Name Poll

I have been trying out and really loving both these middle names for different reasons. Which do you prefer of these two options for Aidan?

  • Aidan Trevor
  • Aidan Zeke

Thank you! :slightly_smiling_face:

[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] [name_u]Zeke[/name_u] is very cool! I love the A-Z look.

I don’t like either, I’m sorry - could have just not commented but I heard “hide and seek” for [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] [name_u]Zeke[/name_u], and then [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] unfortunately is a name people occasionally use in [name_m]Oz[/name_m] in an ironic way (I’m guessing how Chad/Todd sometimes used ironically in US). I would pick it off the two, especially (and only , really) if it’s a family name.

Thank you! Hoenstly I appreciate the honesty! I never even thought of the “hide and seek” thing, but I can totally see it.

[name_m]Trevor[/name_m] is a family name, [name_u]Zeke[/name_u] is not. On my list of names (I only have 6) this is ranking last though, I do still love it. I just don’t or haven’t found at least one other family name that appeals to me other than [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] as it also has the personal family meaning to me rather than it just a generic found on the family tree. I have used family/honour names as middle for the rest of the boy’s names on my list. Using [name_u]Zeke[/name_u] would be the odd one out as I have no ties to that name.

I really appreciate your comment :slightly_smiling_face:

[name_u]Aidan[/name_u] [name_u]Zeke[/name_u] is really cool!

I would use [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] then, for sure. I love meaningful middles. I also prefer the move from [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] to [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] than to [name_u]Zeke[/name_u] (ie the N to TR over N to Z) and feel like they tonally match well. One thing to take into account also is that the Aussie accent makes [name_m]Trevor[/name_m] sound harsher than it would in American accent for eg.
