[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is one of my all time favourite names.
We had settled on [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]. Now I’m starting to overthink it, because it’s been on my list so long! [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] no longer feels as special to me at the moment. I think because I’ve taught so many [name_f]El[/name_f] named children (Ella, [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] etc) that even though [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is fresher I can’t help feeling it’s not quite enough. We recently considered [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], which I think flows nicely but makes [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] sound much more like an older woman’s name. I personally love [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], but surprise surprise, I can’t get my partner on board! 
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any suggestions? Should I stick with 1 middle name or add another to get that uniqueness I’m looking for? [name_u]Or[/name_u] am I just overthinking this entirely?

Daphne has grown on me massively I can completely see the appeal she’s beautiful and I now have her on my own list. I’m a Daphne convert!
I love Daphne Elowen she’s bright, feels whimsical and very fashionable. I think Elowen just brings Daphne out of the vintage category edging her into current fashionable sector. I actually think going with a nature name could work wonders with Daphne.
Cordelia is beautiful, charming and has an ethereal majestic feel. Cordelia has strong imagery for me of beautiful Scottish beaches and windy days. Daphne Cordelia is magic.
I think you have two fabulous contenders you could also make Elowen feel more unique by also having Cordelia in the middle name slot. I think Daphne Cordelia Elowen or Daphne Elowen Cordelia works.
Regarding two middle names I’m a massive fan however some people aren’t so I think you have to just figure out your own thoughts on that. But just to reassure my daughter has two middle names and it’s not resulted in any issues.
You’ve had lots of lovely suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
