What are some middle name ideas (1 MN) that you have for the first name Juliana (joo-lee-AHN-ə) that would fit our style?
Below is a list of our current favorite names so you’ve got an idea (my absolute faves are starred, SO’s %). I just don’t feel that many of them fit as a MN for Juliana. Names of people we’d potentially like to honor are listed separately, though we would like “stretchy” honors rather than the direct individual names themselves, and can’t use one name directly anyway (like for Lynn we’d use something like Linnea).
What would you name her sisters, keeping our faves/style in mind?
(Potential brothers would be August & Hugo. Surname starts with B, is two syllables, and ends in -d. )
People we would honor in some way, but it's not set in stone that we will
(Symbols added so that their full names won’t appear in search)
T@mmie Je@nne
Tin@ Lyn/n
Ann@ R0se
Eliz@beth An/n\ (definitely can’t use Eliz@beth directly)
I love, love, love [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] with [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. I think [name_f]Linnea[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], or [name_f]Willa[/name_f] would go well together also.
I love [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] but can’t use it because it’s a niece’s name.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is growing on me. I struggle to like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] & [name_f]Ros[/name_f]- names but I want to so badly!
For a sister, I like the idea of:
[name_f]Astoria[/name_f] “Rory” (but might be too “out-there” for SO)
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
I don’t like [name_f]Lilibet[/name_f] per se, but this is exactly what I was thinking as far as stretchy! It reminds me that [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is a form of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], and from that I can get [name_f]Isabeau[/name_f], which I like. It gets my gears turning. Thank you for your suggestion!
