[name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] is one of my new found favorites when it comes to boys’ names, and I loved the combos of [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] [name_m]Cosimo[/name_m] and [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] [name_m]Vittorio[/name_m]… But they are so Italian. And I am not Italian. I’m definitely Swedish and Scottish, those two I know, but I could also possibly be Norwegian. So… yeah, not Italian at all. What I’m trying to say is, unless the man I marry is very Italian, I don’t think I could name a future son of mine [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] [name_m]Vittorio[/name_m] or [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] [name_m]Cosimo[/name_m] if he is anything but a guido, you know? So I’m looking for a nice middle name that balances the first name out, and flows well. I love masculine names. Popularity doesn’t matter to me when it comes to middle names, can be anything ranging from a name as common and tame as [name_u]James[/name_u] to a name as over-the-top and unique as [name_u]Oberon[/name_u].
I just want to be able to add this handsome name to my list, but without a middle it’s pointless.
[name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] is very Italian so it is hard to come up with a mn that gels with it. I think you can choose something more mainstream or exotic, multicultural and/or unusual.
[name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] [name_u]Ray[/name_u]
I’ve met lot of very mixed ethnicity girls named [name_f]Giovanna[/name_f] , more accepted I think for girls names outside their ethnicity. For example you can have an English [name_f]Zula[/name_f] but try Zulu and you’re getting looks like hmm…?? [name_m]Giovanni[/name_m] is a very nice name [name_m]Gio[/name_m] as well. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t here them often here. But I think definitly consider [name_f]Giovanna[/name_f] for a girl instead I think it will be more willingly loved in your future child
