I have fallen in love with the name [name]Gloria[/name] for a baby girl. I just love it, there are many nicknames for it too, [name]Glory[/name], [name]Lori[/name], Glow,Lo, and my hubby would call her Glorious. The only concern is my family might think it a little dated.
( Has anyone seen the film Glorious 39? The main character on there is nn ‘Glorious’ even though her real name is [name]Anne[/name]. [name]Ever[/name] since then hubby has loved Glorious as a name)
My main question : Can anyone help with middle names?
Other names i love: [name]Miriam[/name], [name]Willow[/name], [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Elsie[/name], [name]Louisa[/name].
My last name rhymes with " Haillie" ([name]Hayley[/name])
I really like [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], if you were interested in using you first name as a middle. Being popular now, it compliments the older [name]Gloria[/name] nicely imo. I really like [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Louise[/name] (not a fan of [name]Louisa[/name] because of the two “ah”'s at the end.) And [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Willow[/name] is really pretty as well.
From your little list I like [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Willow[/name] and [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Louise[/name] (instead of [name]Louisa[/name]). I really like [name]Gloria[/name], and I don’t think it’s dated! I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Glory[/name].
This is my love too! [name]Lucky[/name] I won’t share my top choices because they are personal, BUT I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Willow[/name]. I am partial to [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] because my grandmother is pearl but I dont care for two older names together. I plan on putting a more trendy name as a middle. [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Wren[/name], [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Reese[/name]?
[name]Gloria[/name] is really pretty and is ready for a comeback! It always makes me think of the [name]Laura[/name] [name]Branigan[/name] song. [name]How[/name] about…
Ooh thanks everyone for your replies! I do quite like [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Willow[/name], but im not entirely sure. I also like the names with -ey/-ie sounds on the end but as our last name ends in that sound do you think it’d be too much repetition? This is also the reason i pick [name]Gloria[/name] over [name]Glory[/name] as a first name, even though i adore [name]Glory[/name].
From the ones you have given me to think about I like:
I really like [name]Gloria[/name] [name]Jane[/name], but unfortunately theres a big-ish coffee franchise here called [name]Gloria[/name] Jeans which sounds a bit similar, do you think?
