Starting to like the name [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] (with [name_f]Etta[/name_f] as a nickname), but it doesn’t seem to flow with a lot of middle names. Most combinations sound clunky together. All my children have 2 middle names, so that adds to the challenge:)
Some other names on my current list are: [name_f]Antonia[/name_f], [name_f]Audra[/name_f], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Miriam[/name_f], [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], [name_f]Hava[/name_f]/Havalah, [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]/[name_f]Dora[/name_f], [name_f]Evette[/name_f]. Other suggestions welcome but meanings are very important to me as well, so it’s not just about the sound. My other daughter’s name has a lot of meaning and history behind it, so I don’t want to let this little girl down
I can make combinations that flow ([name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Audra[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], etc.) but can’t come up with any using [name_f]Cosette[/name_f].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f]! I think it sounds best with a four-syllable middle with the stress on the second or third syllable, like A-MEEL-lee-ah.
Thanks:) [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], but not a meaning/association I was hoping for. What about [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]? It doesn’t have the 3rd syllable stress but then neither does [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], and that still sounds good. Or is the hard “T” in two names too much? Maybe I’m just not used to it with so many L and R names going around.
When I first saw your Thread I thought [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] would be perfect, so I was really excited to see that you love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]! Personally I adore the Combination:
All three Names are amongst my Favourite Girls’ Names, although I prefer [name_f]May[/name_f] to [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (it’s one of my Daughter’s Middle Names!). They are all delicate, Feminine and classy with lovely meanings!
I really like [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] or [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]!
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Janelle[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] … if you can still feel ‘[name_f]Jane[/name_f]’ in the Ja-[name_f]NELLE[/name_f] … sounds good.
I second [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], and [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]!
Other suggestions:
(One middle)
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] (though the meaning isn’t necessarily good now)
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalina[/name_f] (the rose-uh-leena pronounciation I think works best for this combo)
(Two middles)
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Nadine[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] Anaxandra [name_f]Giselle[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] Primeose
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_f]Helena[/name_f] (hel-lay-nuh I think works best)
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]
Cosette Flora Nadine
Cosette Anaxandra/Alexandr(i)a Blythe
Cosette Alexandra/Alexandria Maeve
Cosette Saskia Marie
Cosette Maria Blythe
I really like it with long and “frilly” names for just one middle. Having two I think it’s easier to find middles to go with it. I tried checking all of the meanings, but I think I missed a few, I apologise.
