Beautiful suggestions ead485…I really like [name]Claire[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Pearl[/name] and [name]Brynn[/name]!!! Thank you!!!

SO glad you like them, you’re welcome! There is something so vintage-y and sweet about [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Ivy[/name], and [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]— I think those are my favorites. Then again, [name]Wren[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Brynn[/name] give [name]Louisa[/name] a pretty, more modern feel. Best of luck!

I think [name]Louisa[/name] is great! I could just see a little one with the nn [name]Lu[/name] or [name]LuLu[/name]!

[name]How[/name] about [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Mae[/name] or [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Frances[/name]?

First off, do any of the middles have more significance to you than others? This is my top five based purely off of sound and feel.

[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Wren[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Erin[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Millie[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]

I love [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Claire[/name]!

[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Wren[/name]-like it
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Erin[/name]-okay
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Olive[/name]-don’t like at all
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Kate[/name]-okay
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Rue[/name]-love it
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Millie[/name]-don’t care for them together
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Poppy[/name]-definitely…pops (couldn’t resist), I like the combo
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Birdie[/name]-no
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]-beautiful
[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Collins[/name]-I like it!

I like the one syllable choices, for rhythm.

I’d go for either a one syllable or three syllable mn to go with your 2 syllable ln. [name]Catherine[/name] is nice with [name]Louisa[/name]…[name]Josephine[/name]? [name]Ione[/name]? [name]Jane[/name]? [name]Violet[/name]? [name]Quinn[/name]? Any family name options?

Louisa Wren - lovely balance of classic with modern
Louisa Erin - too vowel-y for me, going from A on the end of [name]Louisa[/name] to the E on [name]Erin[/name] stop
Louisa Olive - same - don’t like the vowel-y transition
Louisa Kate - VERY cute, I really like this
Louisa Rue - road in french? I don’t like it.
Louisa Millie - [name]Millie[/name] is a bit little girlie for my taste
Louisa Poppy - same - poppy is what people call their pets in england
Louisa Birdie - noooo!
Louisa Charlotte - lovely!
Louisa Collins - sounds like a delicious cocktail!

[name]Louisa[/name] [name]Kate[/name] or [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] would be my favourites and I also like the pp suggestion of [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Maeve[/name].

Thank you everyone…
The names on our list that have meaning to us are:

I do also like [name]Ione[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name] as a middle name too! Thank you for that suggestion also!

I like [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Kate[/name] or [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. There’s something about the hard consonant sound after the “a” ending that I really like.

[name]Louisa[/name] is a beautiful choice…I always toy with it as a way to honor my DBF’s mother (when we get around to having kids), so it’s nice to see another [name]Berry[/name] love it!

Wow, I am surprised how much I liked [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Frances[/name] when I read your post, mrsbethg!

Is it too old-fashioned? Would she be embarrassed to have [name]Frances[/name] as a MN? I think it sounds beautifully classic.

My other favorite from your list is [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Wren[/name]. But you said that your surname ends in -ten. So, I wonder how well that flows [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Wren[/name] ___-ten. I’m not sure if [name]Wren[/name] and -ten sound too much alike.

[name]Lovely[/name] choices, though. I’m beginning to like [name]Louisa[/name] myself!

I like all of your choices. Throwing [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Jane[/name] into the mix. [name]Love[/name] the vintage feel.

I absolutely adore [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Wren[/name], [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Olive[/name], and [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]!

This is a bit of a mouthful, but what about [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]?
