I think I’ve tentatively decided to add [name_u]Porter[/name_u] to my list, and I’m now looking for middle names. I have a few ideas, but I could use some suggestions, and feedback on my current list of ideas!
So far I’ve got:
[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]
[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Andreas[/name_m]
[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Marcellus[/name_m]
[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] (or maybe [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], but I like [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] way more than [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], and love the idea of a European-ey name as a middle for [name_u]Porter[/name_u]!)
[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]
Today, [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] is easily my favorite; [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] is a family name I’ve recently discovered and fallen in love with. But [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]/[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] is my longstanding favorite, and I’ve been keen on getting [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] on my list for a very long time!
I’m loving [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Andreas[/name_m].
I love the name [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] but to me it has a very vintage, soft, gentlemanly vibe. [name_u]Porter[/name_u] strikes me as modern and hip. They seem to clash.
I like [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] too. And [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] is a nice down to earth choice.
[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] is great! [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] or even [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m] works well too, but I think the length of [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] actually works better with [name_u]Porter[/name_u].[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] is great here too.
I really like [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m]
Thank you everyone for your ideas! I think I’ve hopelessly fallen in love with [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], and I’m 99% sure it’s my combo! I’m just looking to attach a family name (or rather, a family name that ties to someone I purposely want to honor!)–which of these do you fancy most?
[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] would be my top pick but I do like [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] too
A friend of mine has a son, [name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_u]Connelly[/name_u]. His name blends very well and [name_u]Connelly[/name_u] means love, friendship.
