Middle names for rare Antonia pronunciation

I love the name [name]Antonia[/name]. If I ever use it, I plan to pronounce it ahn-toe-KNEE-ah. I am looking for combos to add to my list but struggling to find the right flow.
[name]One[/name] syllable middles sound abrupt. Emphasis on the first syllable of a mn sounds clunky. Emphasis on the second syllable of a mn sounds a bit odd. Agh! Can you help me find a combo i can fall in love with? Can’t wait for you Berries to work your magic.

I like [name]Nia[/name]. It’s a name in its own right, but can be short for a lot of others.

That is my favorite pronunciation of [name]Antonia[/name]. Sounds lovely.

[name]How[/name] about a longer middle name, then?
[name]Antonia[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name]

Have you thought about giving two middlenames? Possibly follow [name]Antonia[/name] with a one syllable followed by another multisyllabic one that flows better from the first than [name]Antonia[/name], or vice versa? That way you can get the emphasis as far or as close to the ‘KNEE’ in [name]Antonia[/name] without hunting for a name that’s forever long.

I pronounce it that way too

[name]Antonia[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Antonia[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Antonia[/name] [name]Maria[/name]

I think middles that don’t have an emphasis on the 1st syllable will work best with your pronunciation of [name]Antonia[/name]. I like the above suggestions of [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Louise[/name] and [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Carys[/name], and the French-inspired middles ([name]Corinne[/name], [name]Cosette[/name], etc.). It’s got a bit of an international flair, very intriguing rhythm and gorgeous sounds.

[name]Antonia[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is beautiful!

[name]Love[/name] that pronunciation. I like it with a nice, short middle name. [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Joy[/name], [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Kay[/name]. [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Grace[/name], etc.

Thanks for all the great suggestions so far!

@goodkarmavt: [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Amoret[/name] is so delicate and beautiful! I love the alliteration.

@jesba: I agree, it does sound good to use a two syllable name with emphasis on the second syllable. [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Mireille[/name] and [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] really stood out to me.

@ebenezer.scrouge: I really love some of your combos! [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Yasmine[/name] – keeps the exotic flair of [name]Antonia[/name] without overpowering it. [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Mabel[/name] – I love how mild, vintage and beautiful this one is! [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] – Very cool.

@teacherma: Some of your combos were right on! [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Louise[/name] – I just want to keep saying this one. [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Carys[/name] – Beautiful alliteration, so soft and sweet! [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Irene[/name] & [name]Antonia[/name] [name]Elaine[/name] – these flow perfectly!

Thank you all for all the help!

I really struggle to say this the way you want it and keep saying [name]Antonina[/name] ‘an-toe-KNEE-na’ (another girl version of [name]Anthony[/name]) by accident. I think it’s a better choice of name for the pronunciation you want.

Also:

[name]How[/name] is it alliteration?

There is some repetition with the “ahn” sound and the “cahr-is” pronunciation.

Oh, must be an accent thing. Here, [name]Carys[/name] is like this: http://www.forvo.com/word/carys/ and the ‘an’ in [name]Antonia[/name] is strongly pronounced. It’s not a soft ‘ahn’ at all.

Yes, I’ve heard [name]Carys[/name] pronounced both ways here. I just prefer the softer emphasis. With [name]Antonia[/name], the pronunciation that I like is very rarely used. I found it in the book My [name]Antonia[/name] but I haven’t heard it used in real life.

Agreeing with Jesba - two syllable middle, stress on the second syllable.
