I like all of these names. My favorites are [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Anne[/name]–I think they sound best when said aloud. I also like the name [name]Anne[/name] because of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Bronte[/name] (and [name]Anne[/name] of [name]Green[/name] Gables)! It has been used so often in the past, but it’s still elegant and classic.
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Bronte[/name]?
I love [name]Elizabeth[/name] for basically the reasons you mentioned. In fact, I love it so much I’m considering it as a first name despite its popularity and overuse. My middle name is [name]Elizabeth[/name], so I can say from experience that I’m totally not ashamed of it. (You know how sometimes you ask people what their middle name is and they’d rather saw their own arm off than tell you?) I’m probably biased because I love that name so much, but I must admit that I prefer [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].
I love [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (yay for [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name] ) but I voted for [name]Elizabeth[/name] because I think it flows better. I love the extra personal meaning [name]Elizabeth[/name] has for you, and it could also encorporate [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name] with the [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Bennet[/name] connection.
All of your names are so gorgeous and have such wonderful meaning, I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of them.
Good luck
Thanks for the feedback and votes everyone! I’m interested to hear from people that like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. I love the meaning behind the name but I really thought it sounded sort of choppy together. Not so?
I’m glad people are responding well to [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. It was my original choice, and it does have a lot of meaning for me… and the [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Bennet[/name] connection is an amazing bonus! Thanks for pointing it out, morganalefaye.
I have considered [name]Violet[/name] [name]Bronte[/name], but I honestly am not a huge fan of [name]Bronte[/name] as a name. I’d rather have the reference be a little more subtle.
Does anyone have any thoughts on [name]Violet[/name] [name]Emily[/name]? I’ve been warming up a lot to that lately but it doesn’t seem to be popular in the poll.
I think I actually like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Emily[/name] best out of your choices. While I really love the name [name]Elizabeth[/name], it seems like the combination of [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] has a lots of “L” sounds making it a little hard for me to say together. That’s probably just me though! I love the name [name]Jane[/name] as a middle name, but I also like [name]Emily[/name] as it’s a little more unexpected as a middle name.
I chose [name]Violet[/name] [name]Emily[/name] (my daughter’s name is [name]Emily[/name], btw:)). I think [name]Emily[/name] is a bit more unexpected as a middle name, and you have an obvious connection with the name [name]Emily[/name]. I also like the flow of [name]Violet[/name] [name]Emily[/name].
My second choice is [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].
[name]How[/name] about [name]Violet[/name] [name]Austen[/name]?

I like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Anne[/name] [name]Anne[/name] has always been a favourite of mine.
I love [name]Violet[/name] [name]Emily[/name]! I think [name]Violet[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] would be beautiful too
I think [name]Violet[/name] [name]Emily[/name] is really sweet. [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] would be my second choice.
I voted for [name]Violet[/name] [name]Emily[/name]. I just love the way those names sound together.
Second choice [name]Violet[/name] [name]Anne[/name]. Followed by [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] (and [name]Elizabeth[/name] was the protagonist in Pride And Prejudice, so that covers your love of [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name])
I agree with you on [name]Violet[/name] [name]Harper[/name] - both are nice names, but put together it feels very trendy. I think [name]Violet[/name] lends itself more to a classic middle.
Before you chose [name]Elizabeth[/name] because of the “Virgin [name]Queen[/name]”, you might want to know that there is great reason to believe that she was not actually a virgin.
Aside from that, I like the name, and your reasoning behind it is very sweet.
Haha, thanks for the tip I’m pretty aware that [name]Elizabeth[/name]'s virginity was speculative. I more admire her for being a strong female role model in a time when those were few and far between than for any of that. I just used the term the Virgin [name]Queen[/name] to specify which [name]Queen[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] I was referring to.
