[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all, lately I’m liking [name_f]Claire[/name_f] for my daughter due in a few months, and I’m wondering what middle names you might suggest? I love the simplicity of the name but it’s tough to find a middle name with a good rhythm.
Nature-themed middle names would be lovely, but I’m open to about anything.
I love [name_f]Claire[/name_f]! I’ve recently decided to add her to my list as a FN, but I’m also having some issues with combos. My favorite nature names with [name_f]Claire[/name_f] are [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] (probably my favorite [name_f]Claire[/name_f] combo, period, right now!) and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f].
I think a longer middle name would work best, like [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. For nature names–[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]/[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f]?
I had a middle of the night thought last night - I really like the way [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Desiree[/name_f] sounds but I don’t like the name [name_f]Desiree[/name_f]. Can anyone think of a name that is constructed similarly? I don’t even really know what I like about it, just that I like it…
I think I see what you mean about being drawn to the sound of a name, but not actually loving it. Maybe these will help?
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]/[name_f]Adelaine[/name_f]
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f] (a bit out there but has the strong consonant at the start and softens with a vowel ending… Also has the nature tie… The more I defend it, the better I like it!)
[name_f]Della[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
Still trying to figure out your style, so I might have just thrown a bunch of names at you that you can’t stand!
