I’m in love with [name_f]Esperanza[/name_f], and its downsides are almost nonexistent. The pronunciation is intuitive, it draws from my own cultural background, the meaning is gorgeous (hope), and it sounds so lilting and enthusiastic. I also love the nicknames “[name_u]Perry[/name_u]” “Anza/Anzie” “Ranzie” and “[name_f]Essie[/name_f]”.
The only thing that bugs me is that I can’t seem to find the perfect middle name to pair it with, so it can debut in my signature…
Any ideas?
[name_f]Esperanza[/name_f] IS beautiful and an excellent choice all around. I think [name_f]Esperanza[/name_f] is long, feminine and exotic in a way that maybe it needs a middle name that is shorter, like [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_u]Clare[/name_u], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] etc. I think two syllables is ideal. I love the nickname [name_f]Essie[/name_f] for [name_f]Esperanza[/name_f] and even [name_f]Zaza[/name_f] would be quirky and cool.
My first thought was [name_f]Beatriz[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f].
