Looks like Xena’s going to be one of the new additions to my girls shortlist, woo! Which means figuring out some middles, since I failed to do so when I made this exact thread 3 years ago .
As of now I have [name_f]Xena[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f], but I don’t think [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f] quite fits with [name_f]Xena[/name_f]. [name_f]Athena[/name_f] is exactly the sort of name I’m looking for, but [name_f]Xena[/name_f] [name_f]Athena[/name_f] is obviously a no go. Second middle is probably going to be [name_f]Sahar[/name_f]. But I’m not 100% tied to it, so there’s no need to take it into consideration, if it makes things awkward.
I’d love some suggestions that:
Fit the [name_f]Xena[/name_f] aesthetic- see description and very rushed moodboard below. Interpret as you wish, I’m open to any ideas!
Are preferably on the longer side (6+ letters 3+ syllables, but fine if not).
Aren’t any of these names that I already have on my shortlist as firsts/middles. But feel free to use them as inspiration!
To me [name_f]Xena[/name_f] is strong, badass warrior. Experienced and tactical who can be fierce and serious, but also fun, raucous, and a little silly. She’s down to earth and realistic, but a little wild. I’m not ashamed to say that that image is very much inspired by the [name_f]Xena[/name_f] of warrior princess fame. The more modern [name_f]Xena[/name_f] I imagine would be cool, calm, and collected, a bit sarcastic, but super passionate, takes no bull, and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks. She’s creative, and likes putting her own mark and spin on everything. She wants to change the world for the better, and always fights for what she believes in with all the facts at the ready back herself up.

I’d actually considered [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] before then completely forgot. But I do think it’s the perfect fit for [name_f]Xena[/name_f], and flows nicely into [name_f]Sahar[/name_f] too.
