@Wandarine introduced me to this [name_m]German[/name_m] (also Dutch) diminutive of [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f], pronounced MEE-kə. It doesn’t seem to be very common nowadays, but I think it fits in with some names that get attention on here like [name_f]Heidi[/name_f], [name_f]Annika[/name_f], and [name_f]Trudy[/name_f].
What do you all think of it? What names does it go well with?
[name_f]Mieke[/name_f] is lovely and feels very warm and fresh! I really like it. It makes me think of names like [name_u]Alma[/name_u], [name_f]Ani[/name_f], [name_f]Lina[/name_f], [name_u]Noor[/name_u], [name_u]Senna[/name_u], and [name_f]Tuuli[/name_f].
I think it’s really intriguing, and I absolutely see why some people love it, although it’s still just not for me. I definitely agree with your comparison of it to [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]! I can’t explain why, but it definitely shares vibes with [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]!
