Milele🕊️

Lately, I’ve completely fallen in love with the name Milele after watching [name_m]Mufasa[/name_m]: The [name_m]Lion[/name_m] [name_m]King[/name_m]. It means “forever,” which I find so beautiful and powerful. I know it’s probably one of those names that has to stay on my guilty pleasure list, but I can’t help but keep thinking about it. I’ve been pairing it with the middle name [name_f]Selah[/name_f], which gives it the meaning “Forever Praise” [name_f][/name_f]— and I just adore how meaningful and lyrical that sounds together. What does everyone think? Too bold, or something that could actually work?

It’s got a lovely sound and meaning and feels very melodic and musical. I do like it, but maybe more as a middle, unless you have [name_f]East[/name_f] African heritage? [name_f]Selah[/name_f] [name_f]Milele[/name_f] is pretty too

That is why I know it would have to stay in the guilty pleasure list, I have North African heritage but I still think it is better to keep it as a guilty pleasure or go with Selah Milele :))

I think it’s a beautiful name but the general population may struggle with pronunciation! I think switching it to the middle spot gives you the beauty of using the name [name_f][/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f]I think [name_f]Selah[/name_f] [name_m]Milele[/name_m] is stunning

[name_m]Milele[/name_m] is fascinating and beautiful [name_f][/name_f]- I see why you love it! [name_f][/name_f] I do agree there might be pronunciation issues (is it mee-lay-lay?), and the meaning of [name_m]Milele[/name_m] [name_f]Selah[/name_f] is gorgeous! [name_f][/name_f] I hesitate to use African names because so little of my ancestry is from [name_f]Africa[/name_f], but it sounds like a lovely option for you! [name_f][/name_f] I agree it might be easier as a middle but it is no doubt stunning and I would love to meet a [name_m]Milele[/name_m]!

Good luck!

I think it’s a little bold (just because the pronunciation might be hard, I’m guessing it’s something like “mill [name_f][/name_f]- ay [name_f][/name_f]- lay”, but I would not be surprised if that’s not even close, either), but a very nice name. And maybe it’s usable, she could always go by Millie…

It’s pronounced Mi-lay-lay, she could possibly go by [name_f]Millie[/name_f] but I love it as a full name as well :)))

[name_m]Milele[/name_m] is adorable and has a powerful meaning. I would love to meet someone with that name. I believe it would work if the person had African ancestry.

I think it’s really beautiful with a sunny feel to it, and I love the nn [name_f]Milly[/name_f]! Although I’d pronounce it mee-leh-leh, not mee-lay-lay. With [name_f]Selah[/name_f] as a middle, I get what you’re going for with the musicality, but it does sound too L-heavy to me. I think I’d really enjoy [name_m]Milele[/name_m] with a multicultural middle like [name_m]Milele[/name_m] [name_f]Alma[/name_f], [name_m]Milele[/name_m] [name_f]Rina[/name_f], [name_m]Milele[/name_m] [name_f]Oriana[/name_f], etc.
