I know [name]Milo[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] is “L” heavy, but I just love it! The one thing I didn’t like about [name]Milo[/name] was that there was no nickname. I’m BIG into nicknames. If his name is [name]Milo[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] we can call him [name]LUCKY[/name]!! I’m dying over how cute that is! I don’t know if I’m going to be able to sleep.
But I’m nervous that with our last name it really doesn’t sound that great. What do you think?
[name]Milo[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] Altomari
or
[name]Milo[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] Altomari ([name]Sebastian[/name] is my grandfather’s name, which is nice, but still doesn’t leave me with a nickname)
Tell me your thoughts Berries!! You guys are the best!
[name]How[/name] much fun is [name]Lucky[/name] Altomari? Seriously? (I mean, I know I’m the one that suggested it, but only because I adore it).
I do think [name]Simon[/name] was a better fit-- since both [name]Milo[/name] and [name]Luciano[/name] end with -o, they somewhat rhyme. And then you have -lo and lu- right next to each other…
When I first opened the thread, I was favoring [name]Milo[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]. After reading your thoughts, I say go for [name]Milo[/name] [name]Luciano[/name]. [name]Lucky[/name] is adorable, and you obviously love it. Go for it.
My cat is named [name]Sebastian[/name] (I name my animals people names because they’re more like my children than my pets :)) and I’ve always felt sad that there aren’t any easy nicknames to call him by. We’ve tried [name]Seb[/name], [name]Bastian[/name], Sebs and Sebby, but none of them roll off the tongue easily like a nn should.
I’m with @redwoodfey -at first, [name]Milo[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] was my favorite.
But I really love [name]Milo[/name] [name]Luciano[/name], especially with the nickname [name]Lucky[/name]! I’ve always loved the idea of a [name]Luke[/name] name nickname [name]Lucky[/name] ever since I first watched [name]General[/name] Hospital. (The character’s name is [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Lorenzo[/name] [name]Spencer[/name] but he goes by [name]Lucky[/name].)
I also prefered [name]Milo[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] at first, but after reading I’ve really taken to [name]Milo[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] and [name]Lucky[/name] is really cute. Go for it!
I like [name]Milo[/name] [name]Luciano[/name]. I really like it said out loud, like [name]Milo[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] get your butt in the house right now! LOL I think I really like the flow of it.
No, not anymore unfortunately. I guess the job was too much stress(understandably) on [name]Jonathan[/name] [name]Jackson[/name]. There was a whole bunch of [name]Siobhan[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name] craziness, and long story short he’s living in [name]Ireland[/name] now!
[name]Both[/name] are very nice. I think [name]Milo[/name] itself already sounds like a nickname as well as a full name, (short for [name]Emilio[/name], [name]Camilo[/name], etc.) so it seems kind of strange to me to be searching for another nickname for [name]Milo[/name] based on the middle name. But, either way, [name]Lucky[/name] is cute (I had an [name]RA[/name] in college who was named [name]Lucky[/name]), and we call my son [name]Sebastian[/name] “Bash” or “Bashy” a lot. It’s not a nickname we really chose, it just happened.
I think [name]Milo[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] flows better. The double -o ending doesn’t bother me in this case. But obviously I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]. Really, both would be great choices.
