I have to write a short story for school, and for the leading character, I have two names in mind: Milou and [name]Ruby[/name].
She is a really energetic and vivacious character, though a little mysterious, and I felt these two names would fit perfectly, but I can’t decide between the two.
Which one do you like better, or do you know other names that would fit well?

I think [name]Ruby[/name] is perfect too. Milou feels a little too made up and [name]Mary[/name] [name]Sue[/name] ish to me.
I agree that [name]Ruby[/name] is your best bet. I’ve always thought of [name]Ruby[/name] as a spunky name, which fits your character and Milou sounds more like a nickname. Good luck writing
