Any thoughts on girl name Mint? I love nickname [name_f]Minnie[/name_f], but can’t find a full name for it. Considering Mint now, but having doubts. Is it too weird?

I like it, but I would only use it as a middle name. Have you considered [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] or [name_f]Aminta[/name_f]?

[name_f]Minta[/name_f] nn [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] would be sweet.

What about :[name_f]Minnonette[/name_f]/ [name_f]Minette[/name_f]?

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], with Mint as a nickname?

I agree with the others on [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], but you could do [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] if you like that. Traditionally [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] has been used a nickname for [name_f]Mary[/name_f] too. Also, if you like the name “Mint,” I don’t know about that alone, but you could use [name_f]Minty[/name_f] as a cute nickname for [name_f]Araminta[/name_f].

It would make for an unusual and interesting middle name, but I don’t think Mint would age well at all as a first name.

I like [name_f]Minty[/name_f] or Mint as a nn for [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], not a huge fan of it on its own.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

[name_f]Minnie[/name_f] is adorable. I do think that Mint is a little out there for a first name. It may be cool for a middle. [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] is neat. I also like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] or [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] nn [name_f]Minnie[/name_f].

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

Mentha is the Latin word for Mint and might be a nice alternative.

Some herb names work, but I’m not so sure Mint does. Mainly because it sounds incomplete? [name_f]Minta[/name_f] or Minthe/Mintha, nickname [name_f]Minnie[/name_f], could work though.

Other names to get to [name_f]Minnie[/name_f]:

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Minnie[/name_f], but can’t get behind Mint as a first name. I second (tenth?) the suggestion of [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], or using Mint in the middle spot
