It’s a combination of the root mir and the name [name_u]Ren[/name_u] in my eyes.
WDYT? ^^ MN would be [name_u]Emery[/name_u].
So [name_f]Miren[/name_f] [name_u]Emery[/name_u]!
I’ve never heard of [name_f]Miren[/name_f] on a girl, so it doesn’t seem odd on a boy to me! The two-syllables with an ‘N’ ending feels pretty masculine. It does remind me of [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_u]Mirren[/name_u], though.
Miren [name_u]Emery[/name_u] is nice, though because [name_u]Emery[/name_u] leans feminine in my eyes, I might assume it was a girl’s name. That’s not a dealbreaker, though!
It’s nice and sweet. I’ve considered [name_u]Mirren[/name_u] or [name_u]Miran[/name_u] before but not this one. Like it!
Miren [name_u]Emery[/name_u] is very handsome! I’ve never heard of [name_f]Miren[/name_f] but I like it!
I think people would assume it’s a girl.
Miren reads all-girl to me so without meeting him first, I would assume a female.
Miren seems pretty unisex to me, and it would be handsome on a boy. [name_f]Miren[/name_f] [name_u]Emery[/name_u] sounds lovely, and gives me an image of a warrior or [name_m]Prince[/name_m] wearing a bejewlled cloak in a forest clearing.
I would immediately assume girl with [name_f]Miren[/name_f]. It’s the Basque equivalent of [name_f]Mary[/name_f]/Maria and is very common in the Basque community. That doesn’t mean it couldn’t work on a boy though!
Miren feels unisex to me -interesting and gentle!
Miren [name_u]Emery[/name_u] is quite nice though they do share quite a lot of letters
I like it in theory, but it might be too strongly associated with [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_u]Mirren[/name_u]. Normally I don’t think associations with a well-liked celeb are an issue, but in this case since it’s a lady, it might make people assume he’s a girl all the time. Not a terrible thing to assume, but might get annoying.
Is [name_u]Mirren[/name_u] pronounced differently than [name_f]Miren[/name_f]?
I really like it! I think it could be unisex for sure!
Miren [name_u]Emery[/name_u] is really nice but they do share a lot of the same letters. Maybe [name_f]Miren[/name_f] needs a more masculine middle name - something like [name_f]Miren[/name_f] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]?
I like [name_u]Emery[/name_u] for a boy though better than girl.
I do love [name_f]Miren[/name_f] and I’ve never met a girl/boy with that name and I think it’s very passable for a boys name. Another user pointed out that [name_u]Emery[/name_u] does sound more feminine and I would have to agree with that, which might stop you from using both names together.
