I’m 31 weeks with baby #2. We’re team green, and already have a 2-year-old DD, [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].
For first names we have it narrowed down to either [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] or [name_f]Greta[/name_f]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] were considerations when we were expecting DD, and we just adore them. We’ll most likely officially decide once we’ve met the baby.
MNs are hard though… I’d love to use something with familial significance, but I’m having trouble coming up with a combination I like. DD #1 has the same middle name as both my mom and myself, so I’d like to find something that’s similarly special for a second DD, and more than likely from DH’s side, since we’ve already honored mine.
Ok, so here are our options. Mix and match either [name_f]Greta[/name_f] or [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] with them to make your favorite combo 
Oh, and our last name starts with an M, sounding similar to Merit.

[name_f]Ann[/name_f] - DH’s mom’s middle name
[name_f]Rosina[/name_f] - DH’s grandmother’s name
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] - combination of DH’s grandmother’s and mom’s names.
[name_f]Joy[/name_f] - We just like it… we’re Christians, and virtue names are appealing. Also love [name_f]Mercy[/name_f], [name_f]Faith[/name_f], etc.

Out of your current options, [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] is my favorite. However, when you mentioned that you like virtue names, [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Verity[/name_f] first came to mind. It’s a lesser-known virtue name with a beautiful meaning.

[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] - this is actually the name of a friend of mine, she goes by [name_f]Carly[/name_f], occasionally a friend calls her [name_f]Carly[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] (which is cute, but semi lengthy) or [name_f]Carol[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] ( which just makes me think of the holiday season!)
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] - another strong choice, very classic, can become the nn [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] which is cute
