It’s quite an unusual name, but I absolutely love [name_f]Eurydice[/name_f]. It’s a Greek name and I’m from the Mediterranean myself, so in that way, it feels quite fitting.
We’re absolutely stuck for a middle name and nickname for it, though. Last name is two syllables; has an emphasis on the first syllable (bit similar to Sock).
Another name we’ve been considering is [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] (nn: [name_u]Andy[/name_u]). As you can tell, we’re absolutely stuck, haha.
I prefer [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] ‘[name_u]Andy[/name_u]’ but [name_f]Eurydice[/name_f] is pretty as well. I like [name_f]Edie[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Eurydice[/name_f].
[name_f]Euridyce[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Edie[/name_f]’ from bellerose is brilliant! I also like [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] and [name_f]Cece[/name_f] from Jonquils.
Some others:
Euri ([name_m]Uri[/name_m]), [name_f]Ria[/name_f], Dizzy, Riri, [name_f]Didi[/name_f]
I agree with the pp; [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is a great nickname for [name_f]Eurydice[/name_f]! While I like both of these names, I prefer [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f]. There’s something breathtakingly elegant about it.
I really like the suggestions of [name_f]Eurydice[/name_f] nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f], [name_f]Cece[/name_f], and [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]. I would also suggest [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] nn [name_f]Callie[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassiopeia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Cassie[/name_f].
