My top boy name right now is [name_m]Callum[/name_m]. I had debated a few middle name options, but now I’m considering using my maiden name. Does [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_u]Owen[/name_u] work? Or [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Owens[/name_m]? Last name McBeal.

Yea, [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Owens[/name_m] works fine. With the S it breaks up the endings a bit better make for nicer flow.

[name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Owens[/name_m] is better than [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_u]Owen[/name_u] - as pp said, the s breaks up the endings. I think it also goes better with your last name.

I think [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_u]Owen[/name_u] works. I prefer [name_u]Owen[/name_u] to [name_m]Owens[/name_m]–unless it’s a family surname, [name_m]Owens[/name_m] seems odd to me. I also find it easier to say [name_u]Owen[/name_u] McBeal than [name_m]Owens[/name_m] McBeal.

A 1 or 3+ syllable name might be good to break up the flow however: [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]…

Thanks everyone! [name_m]Just[/name_m] to clarify, my maiden name is [name_m]Owens[/name_m], and if I was going to use it, I was originally planning on using [name_u]Owen[/name_u] as a first name. A relative recently used it though, and it was already too popular for my tastes, so I was just wondering if [name_m]Owens[/name_m] worked in the middle or if I should use [name_u]Owen[/name_u] there as well.
